Timberman Training Sun, 26-Jul-2009

I'm running (more slowly) and looking for safe places (meaning, places I won't get spotted or reported to the police) with no luck.

As I'm running by the Amityville train station, I see a port-o-pottie. Now normally, one is not excited about the prospect of a port-o-pottie, but when you are 30 minutes from your car and the gym it's parked in front of is still closed, a port-o-pottie is a sight for sore eyes, and other body parts (thank you God).

I do my business, resume my run, hit the halfway mark, and turn back. It's getting hotter with each step and I'm pouring sweat.

I make it back to the gym, my water bottles are exhausted and the pool awaits.

My 2000 meter swim means 80 laps or 40 loops. I end up doing 15 loops (or 750 meters). It's not quite enough but it's getting late (I started late...again) and I need to get going on the day's chores.

What's all this have to do with business?

1) Take some time to prepare, you never know what might happen once you get going.

2) Keep going, keep the faith, and push ahead (you already know what's behind you). Sometimes, you end up being blessed.
