Paul's Blog

I got up at 4:45 a.m. this morning to get ready for my workout. Before you think I'm crazy or dedicated or any other similar adjective, I must disclaim my recent workout history sucks. I'm training for the Timberman 70.3 (formerly called a Half Ironman) in New Hampshire in August. I'm supposed to be training 6 days a week or so. I'm surprised (delighted) if I get in 2 or 3. Why? Well, I could list a lot of excuses but they would all likely be surface displays of deeper thinking, beliefs, and habits that I have or have created. And that is the basis for this post. What you see on the surface of anyone's life is a results of how they think, what they believe (their filters), and the habits they've created as a result. Want to change your results? Start by changing your thinking. (That, and get out of bed when your alarm clock sounds.)
